Job Ad – Restaurant Manager

A fast-food restaurant chain in Nairobi is looking for a Restaurant Manager. The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for managing four branches and ensuring quality food and service delivery. He/she will lead a team of 90 staff including waiters, cooks, cashiers and cleaners.

Gross Salary – Kes 40,000.00

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage and organize daily restaurant operations
• Oversee procurement
• Analyse and report daily and monthly sales
• Control costs
• Ensure consistency in marketing efforts
• Provide a high-quality experience to customers
• Manage a team of 90 people and ensure they meet their KPIs and targets
• Recruit, train and coordinate cooks and waiting staff
• Manage all inventory
• Ensure the restaurants are always clean and they meet health and safety standards

Person’s Specifications

1. A diploma or equivalent in business management or hospitality
2. At least two years’ experience working in a restaurant
3. Experience in an SME
4. Thorough understanding of food safety
5. Ability to recruit restaurant staff
6. Passionate about hospitality
7. Very strong leadership skills
8. Attention to detail
9. Available to work odd shifts throughout the week including weekends and late evenings
