Senior Technical Experts at Social Impact

Position Description:

SI is seeking Senior Technical Experts for the upcoming USAID/KEA LIS Activity. These will be senior technical positions on the project, reporting to the Chief of Party (COP), and will be responsible for overseeing and managing technical workstreams related to the objectives of the Activity. These positions will be full-time for the duration of the five-year project, and will be based in Nairobi.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the design and development of services and activities under project components.
2. Develop scope/budget/timelines for assigned activities.
3. Provide technical assistance and support to addressing USAID’s gender and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion objectives.
4. Manage teams including full-time staff and consultants.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in social sciences or related field.
2. At least eight years of management experience in one or more of the following technical areas: OD, strategy, capacity building, MEL, verification, and reporting.
3. Experience working on USAID projects strongly preferred.
4. Fluency in written and spoken English required; fluency in Kiswahili strongly preferred.
