Support the implementation of measures aimed at protecting and promoting women’s and girls’ rights in Africa
Facilitate events for partners on human rights, providing expert input in the design of the event and drafting event reports
Design trainings on strategic litigation on human rights, specifically women’s rights or rights of persons with disabilities
Design advocacy campaigns on the promotion and protection of human rights, specifically women’s rights or rights of persons with disabilities
Facilitate and design strategic meetings and workshops on the promotion and protection of women’s and girls’ rights in Africa
Develop guidelines on implementation of continental decision/commitments/protocols relating to human rights, specifically women and girls rights. This may also include the rights of persons with disabilities in specific.
Draft recommendations or policy briefs on the status of human rights protection and promotions in Africa
Qualifications required
Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Human Rights, Gender or Women’s Studies, Sociology, Law, or International Relations
Every expert with knowledge of English, C1-level in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages
2 experts with knowledge of French, C1-level in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages
Professional experience required
5 years of professional experience in the sector of human rights or women’s and/or girls’ rights promotion and protection at the regional or local level
4 years of professional experience working and/or consulting with or in regional or national human rights bodies or women’s rights organisations ornetworks
