    Technical Services Engineer

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Monitoring and coordinating maintenance planning and scheduling activities to ensure a safe, efficient and cost-effective operation and in compliance with regulations.
    • Defining the work scope of ‘C’ checks
    • Heavy maintenance planning and package creation
    • Carrying out Short Term and Long-Term Maintenance Forecast
    • Developing training programs for staff in the section.
    • Defining technical standards for the section for optimized aircraft product cost of ownership and safety.
    • Coordinating technical records data capture, storage and reporting activities for timely and accurate planning and reporting.
    • Coordinating the development of customized MELs and Flight Test manuals to ensure that they meet the local authority requirements.
    • Undertaking the maintenance program development (AMP), implementation and revision.
    • Coordinating and managing control of aircraft configuration changes and ensure compliance to type certificate and regulatory requirements.
    • Representing technical services in inter and intradepartmental forums.
    • Evaluation of new technical maintenance facility capability development needs and initiate and manage capability development projects.
    • Work scope preparation for Engine/ Propeller/ APU/ components Shop Visits.
    • Developing and implementing engine stagger programs and removal plans with planning division.
    • Assist with EIS project plans and preparation of aircraft delivery package
    • Generation of reports, but not limited to: HT Reports, LDND, Component R/I

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Graduate from a recognized university (Mechanical, Aeronautical Electrical/Electronic or equivalent)
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a technical services engineer
    • Detailed knowledge on the KCAA/EASA/FAA regulations and the Jambojet engineering procedures
    • In depth knowledge on aircraft systems
    • Successfully completed a full type course of Jambojet fleet will be an added advantage
    • Familiar with analytical software
