WeMobility Technician at WeTu

• We are seeking a self-motivated individual holding a minimum of a Form 4 certificate. Candidates with a proven track record of at least 2 years working in motor vehicle garage operations, with specialized expertise in vehicle electrical systems and mechanical maintenance, will be highly considered. Proficiency in computer literacy is an additional asset for this role.

Responsibilities:
As a WeTu Mobility Technician, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing daily operations at our solar hubs.
• Ensuring all batteries are charged and ready for client swapping. Conducting electric vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards at e-mobility charging stations.
• Recording daily sales, maintaining records, and submitting reports to management. Ensuring customer satisfaction through honest and high-quality service delivery. Performing routine maintenance on solar hubs to meet hygiene standards.
• Assisting in marketing WeTu products to potential electric mobility clients and local communities. Managing and maintaining stocks at assigned hub locations.
• Assisting in other technical activities as required.
• Cultivating positive relationships with stakeholders in WeTu's operating sectors.

Who We're Looking For:
We are seeking individuals who are:

• Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
• Honest, dedicated, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
• Holders of a Form 4 certificate, with experience in automotive garages, particularly in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Experienced in rural/peri-urban settings and comfortable working with local user groups such as boda- boda operators.
• Willing to work in any of our hub locations in Kisumu, Homa-bay, Siaya, and Migori counties.
• Knowledge in Excel for data capture and basic analysis.
