    Bancassurance Sales Representative

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Achieve sales targets (both Retail & Insurance) in accordance with the budgets provided; Deliver exceptional sales performance by identifying and meeting customer needs through selling & cross selling of General and Life insurance products.
    • Retention of customers within the assigned portfolio – Ensure retention ratio of 85%.
    • Drive the life Insurance Sales and ensure that set sales budgets are met.
    • Provide pipeline data as requested. Monitor own sales performance on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis and provide results to the Sales Managers.
    • Own customer queries and complaints around insurance products and resolve in a timely manner.  Escalate any unresolved queries to the Line Manager or the Head Office Bancassurance team.
    • Ensure accuracy of each application and all other customer documents. Accountable for the accuracy and quality of each application and supporting documents completed and submitted. 
    • Ensure all claims are reported to Head office Bancassurance team as guided while providing timely feedback to the clients. Assist the client to attach relevant documentation and have claim forms well completed.
    • Ensure premiums are collected strictly as per the credit control policy. 
    • Conduct Branch staff training on Bancassurance products.
    • Ensure compliance to the Group’s policies in delivering day-to-day business expectations.

    The Person:

    For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:

    Academic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree from a university recognized by Commission of University Education.
    • Master’s degree is an added advantage.

    Professional Qualifications

    Ideal candidate must have either of below:

    • Certificate of Proficiency in Insurance (Executive certificate of Proficiency in Insurance 
    • COP Exemption Certificate 

    Work Experience:

    • At least 1 year of experience in sales.
    • Strong knowledge of Insurance Products.

    Quality Assurance Engineer

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Test strategy formulation which includes decomposing the business and technical requirements into test scenarios, defining test data requirements, managing test case creation and other testing preparation activities.
    • Formal reviews of test plans, designs, and requirements document with cross-functional teams.
    • Perform effort estimates for projects QA activities and tasks and develop plans and schedules based on the estimates.
    • Implement Test Automation leveraging test automation frameworks.
    • Executes and reports on planned tests, report and manage defects, regress software fixes for new and existing products, assist development with replicating and debugging problems and develop new test automation solutions as needed.
    • Design, implement and manage automated suites of black-box and white-box test scripts.
    • Research, Develop and/or Recommend tools to assist QA Analysts in test planning, execution, and reporting.
    • Utilize tools such as code coverage tools to assess the coverage of test suites and make recommendations for additional test cases.
    • Monitor test execution across multiple code branches and multiple platforms and performing code reviews.
    • Management and maintenance of Test Environments.

    Senior T24 Application Developer

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Develop systems and systems integrations on the bank’s integrations middleware stack using Java , JBasic and Red Hat Integration technologies and tools to drive business. 
    • Work closely with product owners and business analysts and solution architects during requirements engineering phase to understand and document functional and non- functional requirements. 
    • Expose integration interfaces from the core banking using Temenos Web Services (TWS) and connect to third party utilities from core banking to gateway. 
    • Implement and support all customizations and initiatives across the group business i.e. DFS, Retail, Corporate, Operations, Credit and subsidiaries.
    • Work together with Group Enterprise Architecture teams to analyze product requirements and design best-fit architectures and solutions guided by KCB policies and industry best practices and standards. 
    • Identify, champion, and implement innovative solutions that exploit existing business opportunities and mitigate existing risks. 
    • Specify and ensure application controls are incorporated during design of the software in order to check on risk exposure.

    • Design, develop unit test plans and perform unit and scenario testing for application code bases and 
    • Work with technology operations and support teams to handover system support skills and documentation and formulate OLA agreements with level 3 support.
