Job Description
Teachers Management
- Ensure teachers are adhering to curriculum guidelines, instructional practices, and school policies.
Subordinate Staff Management
- Oversee the work of non-teaching staff, including cleaners, cooks, security guards, drivers, and other support staff.
School Timetable Development
- Ensure that the timetable supports the educational objectives as well as meeting the ministry of education guidelines.
Managing and Coordinating Examinations (Internal & External)
- Plan and oversee the preparation, administration, marking and releasing of results of all examinations.
Curriculum Implementation and Educational Standards
- Lead the implementation of the school\'s curriculum, ensuring it meets The Ministry of Education guidelines
Overall School Cleanliness Standards
- Ensure that the school maintains high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all areas, including classrooms, corridors, restrooms, and outdoor spaces.
Responsible for School Resources (Stationery, Learning Aids, etc.)
- Ensure that all teaching materials are well-stocked, properly maintained, and accessible to staff and students.
Scheduling and Oversight of School Transport
- Maintain communication with the school drivers and monitor vehicle safety and maintenance standards.
Co-Curricular Activities
- Coordinate and oversee the planning and execution of co-curricular activities (sports, arts, clubs, music and drama festivals etc.) that support the overall development of students.
Coordinating and Participating in Marketing and Business Development Activities
- Lead the school’s marketing and public relations efforts, promoting the institution’s values, achievements, and educational offerings.
Stakeholder Relationships
- Foster positive and productive relationships with parents, keeping them informed of their child’s academic progress and school events.
School Infrastructure and Facilities
- Oversee the management and maintenance of the school’s physical infrastructure, including classrooms, playgrounds, and common areas.
Job Specifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Education Administration, or a related field is required.
- 7 years of experience with Minimum of 5 years\' experience in school administration or a similar leadership role.
- TSC registration is A MUST
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage diverse teams and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Age: Below 45years.
