Required Knowledge and Skills

1. Relevant graduate Degree
2. Diploma in Graphic Design.
3. Working experience of at least 1 year in graphic design and animations.
4. Proven development experience in creative design, 3D animations and video production

Job Description

Duties will include mobile apps, iOS and Android development, gathering requirements around functionality and translating those requirements into robust and effective web and mobile solutions, designing mobile user interfaces, developing and maintaining mobile applications, enhancing web/mobile user experience

Responsibilities

1. Researching, designing, implementing, and managing software programs
2. Deliver across the entire app life cycle –concept, design, build, deploy, test, release to app stores and support. Developing application programming interfaces (APIs) to support mobile functionality
3. Working along with users to create and maintain a robust framework to support the apps/web.
4. Testing and evaluating new programs.
5. Identifying areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications.
6. Writing and implementing efficient codes.
7. Determining operational practicality.
8. Working with the users to build the interface with focus on usability features.
9. Create compelling mobile device specific user interfaces and experiences.
10. Optimizing performance for the apps /web.
11. Developing quality assurance procedures
12. Deploying software tools, processes, and metrics
13. Maintaining and upgrading existing system.
14. Keep up to date on the latest industry trends in the mobile/web technologies.
15. Training users to ensure optimal system uptake
16. Working closely with other developers

Qualification

1. Required Bachelor’s degree - Computer Science, Software Engineering or Equivalent.

Required Experience

1. Proven development experience in desktop and mobile apps development minimum 3years’ experience.
2. Excellent knowledge in information architecture, human computer interaction and
3. mobile usability design principles.
4. A track record of delivering successful products.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

1. iOS
2. Android
3. Strong OO design and programming skills in Objective-C
4. Familiar with iOS SDK (UIKit, Cocoa Touch, Core Data, Core Location, etc)
5. Familiar with xcode
6. Strong OO design and programming skills in Java (J2EE/ J2ME)
7. Familiar with the Android SDK
8. Knowledge of SQLite, MySQL or similar database management system
9. Familiar with Eclipse.

Abilities

1. Understanding of other compiled languages
2. Experience on web service integration (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML)
3. Experience of development using web technologies
4. Good understanding of OO programming and design patterns
5. Good understanding of HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax and PHP
6. Experience building web and native apps
7. Experience using social media APIs
8. Using version control (e.g. SVN, Ansible)

Desirable skills:

1. LAMP development experience
