    Real Estate Executive

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Identify and secure commercial properties in Kikuyu and nearby areas for co-working or flexible office space expansion.
    • Source and negotiate leasing or purchase agreements with landlords, agents, and developers.
    • Conduct market research, property assessments, and financial feasibility studies.
    • Prepare and present technical reports, floor plans, and proposals to the management team.
    • Build and maintain a pipeline of property leads, tracking progress through CRM tools.
    • Liaise with legal, finance, and construction teams to ensure smooth deal execution.
    • Maintain and strengthen relationships with brokers, clients, and partners in the Kikuyu region.
    • Stay updated on market trends, and competitor activities in commercial real estate.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Preferably a female candidate
    • Minimum 2 years experience in real estate leasing, sales, or co-working space development.
    • Strong understanding of commercial lease agreements and local property regulations.
    • Aggressive and self-motivated approach to lead generation and deal closure.
    • Excellent negotiation skills and a proven track record of successful deals.
    • Technically sound - able to understand floor plans, zoning maps, space layouts, etc.
    • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM platforms, and basic property data analysis.
    • Bachelor's degree/Diploma in a related field.
    • Must be based in or willing to work in Kikuyu.

    Internal Inspector

    • Conduct internal inspections of farms and production units according to ICS procedures and organic standards (USDA/NOP, EU 2018/848).
    • Verify farm compliance with EU organic regulations, including production, field management, and harvesting practices.
    • Estimate yields and verify data accuracy through balance verification exercises.
    • Complete and submit all required documentation and reports accurately and on time to the ICS data clerk. Adhere to the company's Grower Group Quality Manual and annual work plan for all inspections.
    • Identify non-compliance issues and guide farmers on necessary corrective actions.
    • Accompany field officers to assist with monitoring and evaluating farm activities.
    • Educate and support farmers on organic and Fair-Trade standards and coconut quality requirements, ensuring farm-level traceability.
    • Provide on-site guidance to farmers on organic inputs and proper harvesting methods.
    • Train other staff, including field officers, buying clerks, and receiving clerks, on inspection processes and compliance.
    • Stay current with changes in organic regulations (EU and USDA/NOP) to ensure continuous compliance.
    • Prepare detailed inspection reports with observations, compliance status, and follow-up actions.
    • Maintain accurate records of farmer compliance and update the Approved Farmers List (AFL).
    • Communicate inspection findings and compliance requirements to farmers and field officers.
    • Collaborate with management to schedule inspections and ensure continuous improvement, while
    • maintaining impartiality and declaring any conflicts of interest.

    Requirements

    • A Diploma in Agriculture
    • Two years of work experience
    • Excellent knowledge and understanding of farming practices including Organic standards, Fairtrade, Climate smart farming techniques.
    • Computer proficiency: Moderate computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint Ability to communicate effectively with people across all literacy levels.
    • Ability to use smart gadgets in data collection and doing surveys
    • Confident public speaker
    • Willingness to spend long hours in the field riding and walking in the farms.
    • Ability to speak fluently in English and Swahili
    • Motorcycle riding experience with a valid

    Technical Assistant

    • Establish and manage Company's central nursery and demonstration farms.
    • Supervise all nursery activities to ensure they meet efficiency, compliance, and good agricultural practice standards.
    • Monitor and analyze data on propagation, germination, and seedling growth at the nursery.
    • Develop and oversee schedules for irrigation, nutrition, crop protection, and weeding.
    • Manage attendance and payroll for casual workers at the nursery and demo farms.
    • Compile and submit regular progress reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual) on nursery and demo farm performance.
    • Maintain comprehensive databases of mother plants, seedlings, and smallholder demo farms.
    • Provide training to casual workers and farmers on nursery management and coconut tree husbandry.
    • Train field officers and buying clerks on best agricultural practices and research findings.
    • Support the organization of farmer demonstration days at the Demo Farm.
    • Create digital content to be used for farmer training and extension activities.
    • Monitor farmer seedling progress using Appsheet software and provide regular reports.
    • Coordinate with field officers on mother plant and seedling bookings with farmers.
    • Assist in identifying and establishing smallholder demo farms and micro-nurseries.
    • Collaborate with field officers and supervisors to ensure the successful management of these smallholder sites.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture, Crop Science, or a related field.
    • A Diploma is acceptable if it's accompanied by strong field experience.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in crop propagation, nursery management, or demo farm management, specifically with tree crops, horticulture or perennials.
    • Experience working with smallholder farmers and managing extension or training programs.
    • Previous exposure to agricultural data systems, such a digital tools or mobile reporting, is considered an advantage.
    • Must be a licensed motorbike rider.
