Role Description

• This is a contract remote role for a Junior Ruby on Rails Developer. The Junior Ruby on Rails Developer will be responsible for day-to-day back-end and front-end web development tasks and implementing Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Model-View-Controller (MVC) design patterns. The developer will also employ Test Driven Development practices.

Qualifications

• Back-End Web Development, OOP, and MVC design pattern skills
• Front-End Development skills in React or JQuery
• Experience with MySQL or Postgres
• Experience with Test Driven Development
• Proficient in Ruby on Rails framework
• Experience with web development languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with agile methodologies is a plus
• Experience with cloud-based services such as AWS is a plus
