Duties & Responsibilities:

• Consultation- Ask questions regarding the patient’s ailments, history, symptoms, discomfort, or pain in order tounderstand the patient’s condition. Recommend test in order to further clarify the patient’s condition and disease
• Report writing – Prepare a structured medical report for each patient capturing background information of ailment, medical history, physical examination, and specimen obtained and suggested treatment.
• File patient files – Maintain patient files and undertake continuous monitoring and regular evaluation of the project activities.
• Diagnosis – Assess collected information and test. Utilize medical knowledge and expertise to establish a diagnosis.
• Treatment – Attending to dental patients requiring examination and procedures.
• Evidence-based medicine: Compiles and analyzes data collected from dental surveys, dental care programs,patient-related records, or patient records to evaluate the quality of service received by patients
• Health and Safety– Comply with established health and safety policies with regard to the handling of instruments, storage of drugs, and disposal of sharps and other potentially dangerous equipment and substances
• Advise patients on Health – Educate and counsel on improving health and preventing disease and interventions ortreatments that treat risk factors.
• Training – Train graduate trainees, and dental assistants undertaking their post-medical training.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor of Dental Surgery or its equivalent
• Practicing license from the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentist Council.
• A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a similar position

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Consultation– Attend to inpatients and outpatient patients strictly following the set policies, procedures, and protocols of the Hospital.
• Diagnosis – Assess collected information and test. Utilize medical knowledge and expertise to establish a diagnosis.
• Treatment – Ensure all prescribed treatment and procedures are administered and conducted accurately and on time by the clinical team.
• Report writing – Prepare a structured medical report for each patient capturing background information of ailment, medical history, physical examination, specimen obtained, and suggested treatment.
• File patient files – Ensure all necessary documentation as required is done in a timely manner and recorded as per the Hospital policies.
• Health and Safety– Comply with established health and safety policies with regard to the handling of instruments, storage of drugs, and disposal of sharps and other potentially dangerous equipment and substances.
• Advise patients on Health – Educate and counsel on improving health and preventing disease and interventions or treatments that treat risk factors.
• Training – Actively participate in all clinical and administrative activities at the Departmental and Institutional levels such as CMEs, Audits, etc.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Masters of Medicine in Internal Medicine
• Bachelor of Medicine or Bachelor of Surgery
• Practicing license from the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentist Council

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Take and document patient dental history and updates, as well as overall health and medication history.
• Assist the dentist by handling supplies and instruments as requested.
• Prepare tables and trays for the dentist with necessary instruments and supplies.
• Clean and sterilize instruments, and prepare treatment rooms as needed.
• Take, expose, and mount high-quality dental radiographs.
• Ensure the appropriate supply of equipment and materials.
• Perform patient charting as instructed by the dentist.
• Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma in Community Oral Health
• A minimum of 0-2 years experience in a dental clinic
