Review and dispense prescription as per treatment sheet of medications by compounding, packaging and labelling pharmaceuticals to patients
Maintains pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed medications and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt; removing outdated drugs & preparing ageing reports
Organize medications for dispensing by reading medication orders and prescriptions; preparing labels; calculating quantities; assembling intravenous solutions and other pharmaceutical therapies.
Prepare reports by collecting and summarizing information and sending them on time as required in the standard operating procedure
Generates and captures revenue by calculating, recording, and issuing charges as well as issuing cash sale receipts
Check the expiry dates of medicines, making sure that the short expiry drugs are tagged and returned back to the store in compliance with the set regulations

Qualifications
Diploma in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical technologist from a recognized institution
Must have valid membership and hold a valid practicing license in the Registered with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board of Kenya.
Write and edit articles for the hospital newsletter, blogs, and other external publications, highlighting events and campaigns carried out by the hospital.
Capture photography and videography for all hospital events, both on-site and off-site.
Serve as the point of contact for all media inquiries, coordinate interviews, provide media information upon request, and handle media placements, including but not limited to OOH, TV, and radio.
Develop talking points for upcoming interviews, assist in refining the hospital representative’s responses, and ensure they are camera-ready.
Distribute media releases, coordinate interviews, and organize press conferences.
Compile and organize press kits, and write blogs related to the hospital’s activities.
Assist in building and maintaining employee morale by keeping staff informed on company policies, initiatives, and changes.
Support in conducting public relations risk assessments and developing crisis communication strategies to mitigate potential risks.
Monitor public perception and responses to evaluate the effectiveness of the hospital’s image-building efforts.
Key Performance Indicators
Track the quantity and quality of media coverage and mentions.
Publication of the hospital newsletter.
Development of a blog post for the hospital website.
Development of patient testimonials.
Report on media monitoring, perception and attitude towards the hospital.
Qualifications
Degree or diploma in media and communication/ film and photography, or any other related fields.
Minimum 2 years’ experience working in PR / media and communication / film and photography fields.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
In-depth knowledge of the industry and its current events.
The ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
Excellent time management and organization.
