Field Oficer Marketing and Sales (early-childhood education app) at EIDU

Job Summary

Qualification Level: minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Social Sciences, Business, Sales, Marketing, Communications or in related field (Master’s Degree preferred)

Experience Level: Entry-level position

Length: 6 months starting before May with possibility of extension

Purpose: Develop process for adding new schools to the EIDU program (incl. a lot of field work in slums)

Description

EIDU is currently looking to expand its current program to more schools in Nairobi. We are looking for pro-active, smart, and observant university graduates to help us develop a reliable process to identify, convince, onboard, and engage new schools and their head teachers. This will include convincing and onboarding head teachers yourself to figure out what works and what doesn’t.

To qualify, you must possess the following:

Required Education:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred) in Education, Social Sciences, Business, Sales, Marketing, Communications or in related field

Required Experience:

• Some professional work experience in a related position
• Big plus: experience in sales and or teaching/schools

Required Skills:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Swahili
• Excellent community outreach skills
• Empathic and highly receptive to non-verbal communication (ability to “read” people)
• Strong interpersonal skills
• A positive and flexible attitude
