Accountant at HCS Affiliates Group

Job Summary:

 Responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and producing accurate financial reports to guide management decision-making.

 Key Responsibilities:

•   Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and internal    policies.
•   Process accounts payable and receivable
•   Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
•   Prepare and file tax returns -withholding taxes 
•   Maintain and update the general ledger. 
•   Liaise with auditors for internal and external audits.
•   Conduct reconciliations of petty cash
•   Provide financial insights for budgeting and forecasting. 
•   Implement and maintain internal financial controls. 
•   Daily Follow up on account receivables as per Targets & credit terms.
•   Preparing weekly target collection report 
•  Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs, liaise with procurement for purchasing and restock.
•   Prepare cost analysis for quotation purposes 
•  Prepare quotations. 
•  Monitor and manage machinery usage, storage and maintenance.

 Qualifications & Skills: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 
• CPA (Section 4 or above) or ACCA equivalent.
•  3–5 years’ accounting experience.
•  Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting QuickBooks software is a MUST 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and time management.
