Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable IT Professional to join our dynamic team as a Coding Instructor for students in grades 1 to 8. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science and a genuine interest in teaching and inspiring young learners. You will be responsible for developing and delivering online coding lessons that are both fun and educational, helping students to develop a solid foundation in coding and computational thinking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver online coding lessons tailored to students in grades 1-8.
• Create engaging and age-appropriate coding projects and activities.
• Foster a positive and inclusive online learning environment.
• Monitor and assess students' progress, providing feedback and support.
• Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the overall educational experience.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in technology and coding education.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding students' progress and development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or a related field.
• Experience in teaching coding or computer science to young students is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in coding languages such as Scratch, Python, JavaScript, or similar.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for working with children.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
• Familiarity with educational technology tools and platforms.
• Reliable internet connection and a suitable online teaching environment.
