Communications Officer at Africa Youth Trust

Africa Youth Trusts seeks to engage a Communications Officer to support the organization in sharing our impact stories; we are looking for an experienced, passionate and creative Communications professional to join our team; you will be responsible for developing and implementing our communication strategy to increase our digital footprint, branding and marketing efforts. You will be working closely with Programs department.

Desirable Qualities:

• At least three years’ relevant working experience, specifically in communication 4 development
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Highly creative and collaborative approach
• Experience crafting compelling impact stories based on data collected from partner organizations
• Excellent knowledge of multiple social media channels i.e Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Youtube et al.
• High level of initiative
• Proficiency in Photography, Videography, graphic design and website designs and management.
• Attention to detail and demonstrated capacity for follow through
• Ability to interact, communicate and present ideas
• Bachelor’s Degree in Communications/Marketing or a related field
