Driver at Africa Management Solutions Limited (AMSOL)

JOB PURPOSE

• To safely deliver spares/tyre/oil as per delivery note to locations prescribed by management on time while maintaining the assigned machinery in excellent working condition whilst adhering to all traffic and safety regulations.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Operating the 3W/2W to deliver spares/tyres/oil to authorized destinations as indicated in the delivery note.
• Ensuring safety of transit items including adherence to road safety rules and company transport policy.
• Conduct daily checks to identify mechanical issues and report any irregularities to the supervisor.
• Assist in packing of spare parts on need basis
• Loading of spares/tyres/oil to the delivery truck as needed.
• Support in KEBS stickering during container inwarding
• Maintaining accurate records of Fuel/KM record for 3W and 2W and maintenance activities.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• KCSE Certificate.
• Valid driver’s license with appropriate class for 3W/2W
• At least 3 years of accident-free driving experience
• Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to trouble shoot minor issues.
• Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality and discipline.
• Good understanding of Nairobi roads.
