Six (6) years cumulative experience three (3) years of which should have been at the grade of Driver II or comparable position in the public or private sector;
KCSE mean grade D (plain) in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education or its equivalent;
Valid driving license free from any current endorsements(s);
Passed Occupational Trade Test II for Drivers;
Defensive Driving Certificate from recognized institution;
Refresher Driving course lasting not less than one week from a recognized institution;
Certificate of Good Conduct (renewable after one (1) year);
Refresher course in First Aid lasting not less than one (1) week
Certificate in computer applications;
Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.

Responsibilities:
Driving the Authority vehicle as authorized;
Carrying out minor mechanical adjustments;
Recognizing and reporting mechanical defaults of the vehicles;
ensuring security and safety of the vehicle on and off the road;
Monitoring and reporting expiry of insurance policies for motor vehicles;
Overseeing transport management;
Preparing and submitting reports on transport when need arises; and
Ensuring safety of passengers and/or goods therein.
