ECDE Caregiver, Kimwogo ECDE Centre, Kabiemit Ward at County Government of Elgeyo Marakwet

For appointment to this grade, an applicant MUST have: -

• KCSE certificate minimum grade D+ or KCE division IV at ‘O’ level;
• Certificate in ECDE from KNEC/MOE or Diploma in ECDE from KNEC/MOE or any other recognized institution;
• Must be Registered by the Teachers Service Commission;
• At least six months teaching work experience in ECD Centre.

Duties and responsibilities.

• Providing quality and relevant pre-primary education as per CBC; organizing learning & play activities for ECD children; providing care and nurture growth of ECDE children mentally, socially and morally; preparing and maintain updated progress records of all ECD children; maintaining professional and administrative records; organizing community mobilization on ECDE programmes; and providing guidance to ECD children and parents on curriculum issues.
