Finance & Tax Analyst at Platinum Advisory Consulting

This position is responsible for supporting the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including management accounts and forecasting. The role plays a key part in budget preparation, variance analysis, and providing financial insights to support business performance. The Finance analyst and Tax will be responsible for the accurate accounting of all tax-related transactions and ensure the organization complies with all tax laws.The Finance and Tax analyst will be charged with accounting of all tax-related tasks and ensure tax compliance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing financial statements and management packs, and updating financial systems.
• Leading budget planning, periodic forecasting, and analyzing variances with actionable recommendations.
• Assisting with audit preparations and acting as a liaison with internal and external auditors.
• Interpreting and implementing updates to IFRS standards and maintaining compliance.
• Providing commercial analysis, identifying performance trends, and ensuring the accuracy of financial data.
• Developing and maintaining data models and dashboards to support decision-making.
• Overseeing tax planning and reporting activities, ensuring compliance, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Offering tax advisory support across departments, including supply chain, payroll, and accounts payable.
• Collaborating with other teams to align financial strategies with operational needs.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in a finance, accounting, or a related field from a recognised institution.
• Relevant professional qualification – CPA, ACCA
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a financial environment.
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial analysis tools (e.g. SAP and/or S4Hana, Power BI, MS office)
