As a Gardener/Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the institute’s premises, including both indoor and outdoor spaces. You will also take on gardening duties to enhance the beauty of the grounds, ensuring a pleasant environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning & Maintenance: Ensure the institute’s buildings and grounds are clean, well- maintained, and presentable at all times.
Gardening: Perform routine gardening tasks, such as planting, watering, weeding, pruning, and mowing to maintain the institute's outdoor spaces.
Waste Management: Properly manage and dispose of waste, ensuring the institute follows good waste management practices.
Event Setup: Assist with setting up rooms for events and activities as needed.
Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all gardening and cleaning equipment is well- maintained and properly stored.
Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of cleaning and gardening materials, ensuring an adequate supply is always available.
Health & Safety: Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing all duties, ensuring a safe environment for everyone.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in cleaning and gardening.
Basic knowledge of plants, gardening techniques, and grounds maintenance.
Physically fit and able to perform manual labor tasks.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
