Greensteds School is situated 140 km north of Nairobi, in the heart of Kenya’s Rift Valley and within ten minutes’ drive of Lake Nakuru National Park. The School is set in a rural, secluded, 50-acre site and is one of the leading International boarding schools in Kenya serving internationally minded families, from all over the world.
Greensteds has a strong academic record yet places equal emphasis upon a commitment to the wide-ranging cocurricular programme. Our Sports & Performing Arts departments complement and supplement our academicvprogramme and our very strong team of teachers are expected to contribute in one or more of these areas. About the job
The Head of Junior School will also be the Head of Pastoral Care for the whole school. The Head of Junior School has responsibility for the management of the Junior School, including the Early Years School situated within the compound. He/She also plays a key role as part of the Senior Leadership Team, reporting to the Headmaster

In return, the successful candidate will access:
Applicants must have experience in a Senior Leadership position, a Bachelor’s Degree in an academic subject, a teaching qualification and experience in teaching the British Curriculum. Experience of working in an I.A.P.S school would be an advantage.
The willingness to take a full and active part in all aspects of a thriving and progressive school is vital, including the ability to coach team sports and/or take an active part in the wider co-curricular programme.
