House Keeper Grade III/IV at Kenyatta University

Roles and Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in rooms, washrooms, and common areas.
• Safeguard University property and report hazards or damages.
• Monitor and support student compliance with hygiene rules.
• Promote a safe environment by being vigilant and reporting concerns.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor/ Director.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

• KCSE D Plus and above.
• Must have served in the University on seasonal terms for at least one (1) year.
• Certificate in Housekeeping, Caregiving, Hospitality, Security or related field is an added advantage.
• Fluency in English and Kiswahili.
• Basic Computer skills.

Legal and Ethical Requirements

• No record of criminal offense or disciplinary case.
• Ability to safeguard students’ dignity, privacy, security, and uphold integrity.
