    Hub Control Centre Officer

    Brief Description        

    • Constant liaison between Ground Services and HCC Duty Manager as well as other stakeholders.

    Detailed Description        
    Principal Accountabilities (Responsibility)

    • Provide efficient, high quality customer service delivery in day-to-day operations for Kenya Airways, Customer Airlines and alliance partners according to the agreed Service Level Agreements and Company
    • Policies in order to delight the customer and improve the overall customer experience at JKIA.
    • Implement all activities within the entire scope of HCC including and not limited to Planning of Turnaround coordinator, assist in planning of bay resources, liaison with catering and fueling business partners.
    • Issue Job cards to TRC staff as they report on duty.
    • Feedback to HCC Duty Manager for continuous improvement of Hub control Centre processes and communication flow.
    • Active decision support on behalf of HCC.
    • Ontime departure of all flights at the Hub maximizing on high utilization of the Pier arrival and departures.
    • Responsible for the HCC reporting including compiling reports.
    • Promote and Maintain a positive , Safety , Quality and Security culture for kenya Airways and its Partners by ensuring compliance with relevant industry, legislative and company standards therefore creating a healthy ,safe and secure environment..
    • Adhere to KQ WAY principals and best practices.

    Job Requirements        

    Qualification (Minimum) 

    • University graduate or Diploma with 5 years’ experience in airlines operation.
    • Irregular operations handling experience.
    • Cost control awareness.
    • Extensive knowledge of support/IT-systems.
    • Excellent analytical skills.
    • Airside Safety Training.
    • Dangerous Goods Category 10.
    • Aviation Security Awareness.
    • Aircraft turn around coordination training.
    • Planning tools: FTA, Altea DCS, BMS, MCC, Ops Center.
