IT Assistant at AfriCert

JOB SPECIFICATION:

• Incharge of the IT section in the absence of the IT officer
• Assist in developing documentation of computer programs according to instructions and specifications
• Assist in developing, updating and maintaining AfriCert Limited’s website and social media platforms
• Assist in developing, updating and maintenance of the AfriCert Limited’s network
• Installing and configuring computer systems and solutions
• Maintaining application systems
• Providing end user support and training users on effective and efficient use of ICT facilities
• Maintaining up to date equipment register
• Installing, configuring and monitoring local Area network components
• Administering and managing users in the active directory, email server and user applications
• Maintaining an up to date ICT equipment register and issuance register
• Updating and maintaining the authority’s website
• Ensuring Business continuity by performing regular data and application back ups

DO YOU POSSESS THE FOLLOWING:

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in any of the following fields: Information Technology, Computer Science , Software Engineering , ICT Project Management , Computer Engineering or a related field from a reputable academic institution
• A minimum of 2years pointed working experience in a similar or equivalent position in a busy organization
• Possession of any of the following professional qualifications is a plus:
• AWS certified cloud practitioner
• Certified Cloud Security Professional
• Certified data privacy solutions engineer
• Certified data professional
• Certified Information Security Manager
• Certified information Systems security Professional
• CISCO certified internetwork expert
• CISCO Certified Network professional
• CompTIA ( A+, Cloud +, Security +)
• Microsoft Certified Azure solutions architect
