Reporting to the Medical Officer In Charge, this role is responsible for:
Superintending the branch laboratory premises as per the KMLTTB requirements
Planning, organizing and coordinating the departmental activities to meet the budget and quality objectives
Implementing laboratory standard operating procedures and policies in accordance with the policies of the hospital and statutory requirements
Supervising laboratory operations and staff ensuring that the company polices are implemented
Qualifications:
Degree or diploma in Medical Laboratory with more than 1 year experience and up to 3 years experience in a similar position. Certifications in quality management, management course or health systems management is desirable.
Key Competencies:
Successful applicants must have an understanding of hospital strategy implementation, possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills and strong knowledge of laboratory techniques
