Providing technical leadership teams in the department to enable them to develop, implement and evaluate strategic management plans and budgets aimed at improving performance and meeting set targets
Coordinating departmental planning, budgeting and procurement plans
Coordinating implementation of the Company’s performance framework on Community Relations management
Monitoring and evaluating implementation of Community management strategies and programs
Overseeing stakeholder management, handling Community queries and relaying community issues to top management for redress
Facilitating capacity building of staff within the department
Person Specifications
A minimum of twelve (12) years of work experience four (4) of which must have been in a managerial role
Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: - Public Relations, Community Development, Journalism and Mass Communication, Social Sciences, or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
Master’s degree in any of the following disciplines: - Public Relations, Community Development, Journalism and Mass Communication, Social Sciences or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
Management course lasting not less than four (4) weeks
Professional certification in a relevant field
Membership of PRSK, MSK any relevant professional body/institute
Proficiency in computer applications
Fulfilled the requirements of chapter six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010
