    Marketing & Commuunications Officer

    Marketing & Communications Officer

    A dynamic training and development organization is seeking a Marketing & Communications Officer to support the execution of its marketing strategy, enhance brand visibility, and drive meaningful engagement across digital platforms, events, and alumni communities.

    The ideal candidate is creative, digitally savvy, highly organized, and passionate about communication and community building.

    Key Responsibilities

    Marketing & Brand Communication

    • Support implementation of the annual marketing plan and campaigns.
    • Develop and publish marketing content (blogs, newsletters, email campaigns).
    • Ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels.

    Social Media & Digital Marketing

    • Manage all social media accounts (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, TikTok, YouTube).
    • Plan and execute weekly content calendars—posts, videos, stories, reels.
    • Track performance metrics and compile monthly reports.
    • Respond to online inquiries and leads.

    Events & Activation Support

    • Coordinate trainings, workshops, open days, and alumni events.
    • Handle logistics, registrations, communication, and reporting.
    • Ensure events deliver an excellent brand experience.

    Graphic Design & Content Development

    • Create basic social media graphics, posters, banners, and digital assets (Canva/Adobe tools).
    • Support short video editing for reels and testimonials.

    Supplier & Partner Management

    • Liaise with external designers, photographers, videographers, and printers.
    • Obtain quotations and oversee procurement documentation.
    • Ensure quality and timely delivery of marketing materials.

    Alumni Community Management

    • Manage communication channels for alumni groups (WhatsApp, email, online forums).
    • Plan alumni engagements: meet-ups, webinars, mentorships.
    • Track alumni milestones and feedback for storytelling.

    Internal Collaboration

    • Work with Sales, Training, Operations, and Customer Care to align marketing with revenue goals.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, Media, or related field.
    • 2–3 years’ experience in marketing, communications, or digital marketing.
    • Hands-on experience managing social media for an organization.
    • Experience coordinating events and brand activations.
    • Basic graphic design experience (Canva/Adobe Express).
    • Experience managing community or alumni groups is an added advantage.

    Key Skills

    • Strong communication and copywriting abilities.
    • Social media and digital marketing proficiency.
    • Creative with a strong eye for design and detail.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
    • Excellent relationship-building skills.
    • Organized, proactive, and a great team player.
