Mechanical Technician at Safal Group

Description

Key responsibilities: 

• Prepare work schedules for the purpose of documenting and communicating activities as required. 
• Directs and supervises Mechanical maintenance fitters in assigned duties.
• Supervise and manage the execution of routine and Preventive maintenance programs and maintenance of departmental documents records. 
• Determination of material, equipment/supplies to be used and reserving of the same for issuance from stores. 
• Compiles and submits technical work and breakdown reports. 
• Participates in the diagnosis and repair of major faults and breakdowns. 
• Ensure observance of safety rules, regulations and practices. 
• Attend to any breakdown on equipment in a timely manner. 
• Maintain the required critical spares to reduce downtime of the equipment. 
• Reduce MTTR, through analysis tool and monitoring of critical equipment. 
• Proper supervision of all mechanical activities. 
• Carrying out preventive and predictive maintenance of all equipment. 
• Supervision of daily shift routine jobs. 
• Job planning and allocation. 
• Control of overtime for maintenance department. 

Requirements

Qualifications required: 

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
• At least 3 years relevant experience in a similar position, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of Auto CAD.
• Ability to read and interpret machine, hydraulic and pneumatic schematic drawings.
• Good knowledge of Hydraulic & pneumatic systems.
• Knowledge of ERP SAP PM Module.
• Planned Maintenance(Time based maintenance, Condition based maintenance, Corrective Maintenance)
• Autonomous Maintenance & Good knowledge of Continuous improvement projects.
• Total productive maintenance knowledge
