Overview:
ICRW Africa is seeking the services of a Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist to work on a threeyear multi-country project focusing on young mothers and early childhood development. The position is tenable in Kenya. The M&E Specialist will conceive, lead, and oversee monitoring and evaluation of projects focusing on gender-based violence and inclusive economic empowerment. S/he will be in charge of the design and delivery of qualitative and quantitative metrics and indicators to capture and assess the project's impacts, as well as the day-to-day monitoring of project implementation. A minimum of 20-25% travel will be required.

Research, Monitoring, and Evaluation:
Works in multi-disciplinary teams to lead, design, supervise, and undertake mixed-methods research encompassing innovative qualitative methods and quantitative surveys. Analyzes primary and secondary data using appropriate methods, and writes incisive products for diverse audiences, including research reports, peer-reviewed publications, and other outputs, such as policy briefs and reader-friendly blogs. Develops conceptual models and M&E frameworks to guide research and program evaluation. Serves as evaluation focal point and works under general direction, seeking
Representation:
Maintains professional expertise and recognition outside of ICRW through publishing and speaking in relevant forums. Conducts limited negotiations and continued cultivation of existing and new relationships, partners, and donors.
