Orthopedic Trauma Technologist III at Machakos County Public Service Board

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manipulating and reducing fractures and dislocations.
• Fixing and removing casts, bandages and traction to and from patient/clients.
• Correcting Congenital Talipes Equino-Varus (C.T.E.V).
• Counseling patient on issues regarding orthopedic trauma.
• Cleaning and treating simple wounds resulting from orthopedic trauma.
• Documenting orthopedic and trauma case.
• Assessing and referring patient with musculoskeletal condition.

Requirement for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, an officer must have: -

• Diploma in Orthopaedic plaster technologist.
• Certificate in computer skills.
