Procurement Officer at Hublink Company Limited

Our client a corporate offering Enterprise (ICT) solutions in Fiber Connectivity, Biometric System, Security System,  Structural Cabling, Conference Facility, Buildings Management Systems (BMS), is seeking to recruit highly transformative, dynamic and self-driven individual with a highly degree of professionalism and  competence to fill the of a Procurement Officer with ENGINEERING BACKGROUND

Duties  

• Processing purchase orders to acquire goods.
• Manage the procurement process to achieve 100% procurement plan by identifying potential suppliers based on project requirements.
• Nurture relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best prices  while ensuring that purchases arrive on schedule and meet client specifications.
• Develop, align and execute the Company’s procurement strategy, policies and procedures.
• Undertake regular market survey of relevant products required.
• Interrogate the   details of tender specifications and performance standards to facilitate all efficient procurement processes.
• Coordinate all purchases against approved technical specifications and with due regard to market price, cost, quality and speed of delivery as well as economy of operations
• Ensure effective procurement management including driving optimal and cost effective supply of goods;
• Participate in the development of procurement and contracting requirements;
• Continuously monitor requisitions to ensure that proper procedures are followed and policies enforced;
• Prepare regular procurement reports to the management.

Requirements 

• Have three (3) years relevant work experience including as a procurement officer
• Those that are registered with the Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM) will definitely have an added advantage
•  A diploma holder in procurement and Supplies, Logistics, supply chain Management or any other relevant
• A diploma or equivalent in engineering filed or other relevant discipline is a MUST
•  CIPS Graduate diploma or Certified Procurement and Supply Professional part IV equivalent disciplines are also desired.

Salary

A guiding monthly salary of Kshs 40- 50,000.00 will be offered to the best candidate depending on one experience especially those with an engineering background.
