Product Marketing Manager at Complete Farmer

The Opportunity:
Work in a dynamic environment to make a meaningful impact by defining the strategy for how we communicate our products to our key target audiences. 
You will report to our Chief Growth Officer (CGO) while working very closely with our Sr. 
Marketing Manager and the rest of the marketing team.

About your role on the team:

• This position is responsible for defining our customer facing positioning and messaging, creating the most compelling content to help customers understand the use cases and value propositions, and building the right programs to increase customer engagement and product adoption. 
• You will also collaborate with both external and internal partners including marketing, sales, product, and engineering teams to shape the product vision and go to market.

Your Contribution:

• Own the development of value propositions and go-to-market strategies for our products
• Create a strategic product marketing plan based on company goals
• Understand the target market segment and its needs to create relevant content across the most appropriate channels for our audience.
• Translate technical product details into compelling messaging for customers.
• Work with product and engineering teams to determine key functionalities and benefits for product marketing messaging.
• Work with sales to develop field enablement training and content to ensure consistent messaging across marketing and sales.
• Evaluate projects using relevant KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and feedback from existing and prospective customers.
• Compile insightful performance reports to provide executive leadership with information on marketing initiatives and strategies.
• Collaborating with the marketing team, creating materials that highlight the product’s features and benefits.
• Presenting the company at all times and to any audience to discuss the benefits of the product line as perceived by customers.
• Collaborating with writers and other content creators, both internal and external, to create the desired content.
• Analysing psychographics and demographics of target markets to develop successful campaigns by researching innovative marketing strategies and popular search terms.

To succeed you must:

• Have 3-5+ years of relevant work experience in fields such as product marketing, solutions
• Have experience in marketing, technical marketing, product management, or management consulting.
• Have a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, technology, computer science or relevant field of study.
• Have demonstrated record of accomplishment in crafting compelling positioning and marketing content.
• Have eagerness to prioritize customers when developing marketing assets (product videos, solution briefs, web content).
• Have demonstrated ability in launching and growing innovative technology products.
• Can easily transition from high level strategic thinking to creative and detailed execution.
• Have superior oral and written communication skills.
• Be a strong leader who can drive consensus and articulate recommendations to senior executives
