Production Machine Operator

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the production lines operates efficiently and safely, producing high-quality products in line with Good Manufacturing Practice, Health & safety using appropriate techniques and equipment, adherence to departmental written procedures and completion of necessary documentation.

Main Activities/Tasks

• Understand and adhere to the Company's Health & Safety policies. 
• Operating and maintenance of production equipment in accordance with current Standard Operating Procedures including automated equipment and computerized system for filling, capping and packing machines.
• Manufacturing high quality products using approved processes within a manufacturing-controlled environment. 
• Comply with all aspects of the Quality Management System. 
• Completion of all documentation associated with the operation and manufacturing of a product in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practice (Production control records and logbooks.
• Ensuring work areas are always audit ready.
• Any other duties as deemed necessary by management.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities for Career Success

• Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of two years’ experience operating a production machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical principles will be an added advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals.
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Must be able to work in various shifts, including weekends and evenings.
