KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Generate exceptional multi-platform, multi-purpose promos
• Enhance the look and feel of our platforms
• Oversee audio recordings of promos and other materials as needed
• Creatively produce daily multi-platform products, using footage from diverse sources
• Provide quality control checks for on-air promos and drops – both video and audio
• Prepare daily/weekly edit and production logs
• Plan timelines and ensure projects are completed on schedule
• Create promotional content that is internal or client-specific as assigned59

Skills and Personal attribute

• Proficient in several non-linear editing packages including After Effects, Photoshop, Avid, Adobe Premier
• Excellent creative-thinking and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and timelines
• Copywriting skills
• Willing to work non-traditional hours
• Pro-active, team player, progressive and flexible person
• Able to work under pressure, good people skills
• Efficient time management skills
• Good command of written and spoken English and Swahili

Academic and professional experience

• University Graduate – Communication/TV production with relevant practical experience
• Minimum three (2) years’ experience in TV production process
• Proficient in several non-linear/digital editing packages
