Main Purpose of the Job- (Job Summary)

• Provide psychosocial support to staff and patients.

Main Responsibilities

• Provide counseling services as required.
• Preparing periodical reports for decision making
• Planning for counseling activities within a unit
• Training, orienting & supervising Counseling interns
• Facilitating support group sessions for survivors and care givers
• Staff debriefing 
• Maintain client/patient privacy and confidentiality at all times
• Any other duty as assigned by the supervisor in line with the job description.

Academic & Professional Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in clinical counselling psychology
• 3 years' experience as a resident counsellor in a healthcare facility
