Senior DevOps Engineer at Lori Systems

ABOUT THE ROLE

• As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our infrastructure and deployment processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline our development and operations workflows, ensuring a smooth and efficient release cycle. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps practices, automation, and cloud technologies.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Design, implement, and manage infrastructure using IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery and deployment processes.
• Implement automation solutions for repetitive tasks, ensuring efficiency and reliability in the development and deployment lifecycle.
• Set up and maintain monitoring and logging tools to proactively identify and address issues in our systems.
• Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud to architect scalable and reliable solutions.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and QA teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
• Investigate and resolve infrastructure issues, working closely with development and operations teams.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure and deployment processes.

WHAT IT TAKES:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Strong proficiency using AWS is a plus.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
• In-depth knowledge of CI/CD tools and version control systems (Git, Git Actions, Helm).
• Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation.
• Strong proficiency in languages such as Python.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and security best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Relevant certifications (AWS, Kubernetes etc.) are a plus.
