Site Representative at Space and Style Ltd

Key responsibilities

• Take accurate and timely ring-beam measurements in order to establish the actual roofing measurements.
• Draw sketches based on the actual roofing measurements and submit to the design team timeously.
• Follow up regularly delivery of the roofing materials with the design team to ensure timely delivery.
• Receive and verify roofing materials to ensure they conform to the prescribed quantity and quality.
• Issue and maintain accurate and up to date records on roofing materials.
• Inspect roofing works carried out by outsourced installers to ensure they meet the prescribed standards.
• Prepare and submit timely daily site reports in line requirements.
• Attend site meetings in line with requirements.
• Ensure compliance to health and safety guidelines by installers including wearing the right PPEs.
• Ensure house- keeping standards are maintained and adhered to by installers.
• Administer and account for the petty cash float.
• Any other responsibilities that may be assigned to the job holder by the supervisor from time to time.
• Working relationships

Internal Relationships:

The Clerk of Works is:

• Directly accountable to the Construction Manager.
• Required to work with the production, finance and dispatch teams in the company.

External Relationships:

• Installers
• Main Contractor
• Other sub-contractors on site

Knowledge, experience and qualifications required

• Diploma in Building and Construction, Civil engineering or any other related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in site supervision in the construction industry.

• Ability and knowledge in taking roofing measurements.
• Ability to draw roof sketches.
• Knowledge of the application of roofing materials.
• Ability to read architectural drawings.
