VP of Strategy and Operations at Lori Systems

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Support exec team in the execution of strategic projects such as fundraising and partnerships
• Own and execute complex projects across technology, operations, and finance
• Lead teams to drive growth and adoption of new products
• Work with exec team to set targets & track performance across the organization
• Contribute as a leader in the execution of Lori's strategy and achievements of key objectives
• Identify new market opportunities and draft plans to execute on those
• Use data and analytics to produce business insights and drive strategy
• Streamline cross-team collaboration for optimal operational efficiency

WHAT IT TAKES:

• BA/BS in STEM, Economics, Statistics, or a related technical/business field
• 6+ years experience in strategy, operations and/or management consulting
• 2+ years experience in high-growth tech / startups
• Excellent management, communication and execution skills, proven ability to build and lead teams
• Very strong analytical thinker who is data driven and able to make decisions quickly
• Experience developing, implementing and achieving KPIs
• Strategy planning and execution experience
• Record of setting and achieving ambitious goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment.
• Energetic, fun, driven and self-motivated

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• MBA or equivalent advanced degree
• Experience with leading mobility startups, digital company and/or in logistics (traditional and e-logistics)
• 2+ years in management consulting or banking
• Expertise in B2B/B2C, SaaS, FinTech or Data Science
• Experience with African Start-ups and plugged into the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
