Warehouse Supervisor at Africa PVC Industries Ltd

We are seeking an organized and proactive Warehouse Supervisor to oversee operations at our Nairobi branch. This role is critical in ensuring efficient dispatch, inventory management, and customer satisfaction while maintaining a clean and well-coordinated warehouse. Key Responsibilities

Dispatch & Warehouse Operations

• Supervise the loading and offloading of goods, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Monitor drivers and transporters to address distribution challenges and ensure smooth delivery of goods from Mombasa or to customers.
• Coordinate with the Mombasa team and transporters for effective dispatch and receipt of goods.
• Prepare and send weigh bills to the sales team promptly.
• Oversee the production of dam liners, ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and tidy warehouse at all times.
• Manage inventory by reconciling physical stock with system records every Friday.
• Ensure adequate labor levels, including casual workers, to meet client demands.
• Assist walk-in clients professionally and liaise with the sales team on samples and inquiries.

Administration

• Report directly to the Key Account Manager on dispatch and other assigned tasks.
• Record all goods dispatched to Mombasa in the Odoo system accurately.
• Generate invoices using the Odoo system as required.
• Monitor and respond to emails and WhatsApp messages promptly.
• Ensure the warehouse opens at 8:00 AM and closes at 4:30 PM, adhering strictly to timings unless additional work requires completion.
• Maintain proper documentation, including delivery notes and invoices.
• Open the building at the start of the day and secure all doors and windows when operations conclude.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by management.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience in warehouse supervision or a similar role.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in inventory management and systems (experience with Odoo is a plus).
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
