Key Purpose Statement 

• The Process Operator (Simple Syrup room) is responsible for operation of the process area according to work Instructions, execution of destructive and non-destructive quality checks and carrying out autonomous maintenance. The Process Operator (Simple Syrup room) has a primary focus on quality control activities of the team. This role reports to Quality Assurance Technologist. 

Key Duties & Responsibilities   

• Sugar weighing and dumping for simple syrup manufacturing.
• Execute concentrates requisitions to ensure correct batches and product and with effective traceability documentation.
• Ensure adherance to KORE and regulatory requirements in syrup operations.
• Participate in continous Improvement Initiatives.
• Initiate RCA for deviations or non-conforming process and products.
• Be Involved in all supply chain practices applicable to level 1.
• Stock management for inventory in the Syrup room.

Skills, Experience & Education    
QUALIFICATIONS:

• Diploma in Food Science and Technology or Biochemistry or Chemistry or Microbiology or any related course.

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar or equivalent position in an FMCG

Key Purpose Statement 

• The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for ensuring maximum quality control within stipulated product standards and assure fully conforming final product. This role reports to Quality Assurance Technologist

Key Duties & Responsibilities   

• To assure by measurement or otherwise that the product and package quality from the production line conforms to stipulated company standards.
• Keep appropriate retention samples and their subsequent testing.
• To assure water quality by conducting random sampling on water to confirm results as per the sampling plan issued from time to time by the Quality Assurance Technologist.
• To assure the quality of incoming materials by inspection and or testing and ensuring that it conforms to the Coca-Cola requirements where necessary.
• To inspect storage and stock rotation of finished products / materials to assure compliance.
• To inspect hygiene standards in the plant.
• To calibrate regularly the relevant testing equipment for accuracy.
• Ensure compliance on SHEQ policies and practices.
• Ensure timely and correct record keeping.

Skills, Experience & Education    
QUALIFICATIONS:
