    System Developer

    Job Purpose

    Reporting to the ICT Manager, the Systems Developer will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of hospital information systems with a focus on system integration, API development, process automation, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (Navision). The role aims to ensure seamless data flow, improved efficiency, and enhanced service delivery across hospital operations.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Develop and maintain APIs and middleware to integrate hospital systems (EMR, LIS, RIS, HRMIS, Navision ERP, etc.).
    • Ensure compliance with healthcare IT standards such as HL7, FHIR, and DICOM for interoperability.
    • Build scalable solutions to support the hospital’s digital transformation agenda.
    • Identify manual processes and develop automation scripts, bots, or RPA solutions to improve efficiency.
    • Streamline workflows across clinical and administrative departments.
    • Customize and configure Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (Navision) for hospital operations (finance, supply chain, HR, billing).
    • Develop dashboards, reports, and workflows in Navision to support decision-making.
    • Integrate Navision with clinical and support systems (EMR, pharmacy, inventory).
    • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hospital system integrations.
    • Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
    • Prepare documentation, user guides, and training materials.
    • Design and develop programming systems making specific determinations about system performance as well as respond promptly and professionally to bug reports.
    • Review and repair legacy code including conducting system analysis and development in order to keep the Hospital’s systems current with changing technologies.
    • Development of new programs analyse current programs, processes, and making recommendations, which yield a more cost effective product.
    • Effectively estimate project work and communicate issues and risks that might impact development timeline, budget or resources.

    Qualifications & Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
    • Relevant professional certification in ICT; Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Business Central
    • Functional Consultant Associate.Certification in API Development/Integration (REST, SOAP,
    • HL7, FHIR). RPA (UiPath, Microsoft Power Automate, or equivalent).
    • 3-5 years’ experience in a 24×7 service provider environment.
    • Experience in in systems development, API integration, or ERP customization.
    • Hands-on experience Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (Navision).
    • Strong programming background in C#, .NET, SQL, and JavaScript.
    • Operating Systems –VMWARE, Windows Server R2, Windows Server 2016, Linux Based
    • Operating Systems, Windows 10.
    • Knowledge of healthcare IT systems (EMR, HIS, LIS, PACS) is a strong advantage.
    • Experience with emerging technology, such as cloud computing, desktop virtualization and unified communications.
    • Excellent understanding of healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR, DICOM).

    Management Accountant

    Job Purpose:

    • This position reports to the Finance Manager. The successful candidate will ensure compliance of financial transactions to approved financial policies, procedures and control systems in order to support sound decision making based on accurate financial information.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Drive and coordinate the annual budget process for the Hospital, which involves providing support to the project companies in the preparation of annual budgets.
    • Preparation of the consolidated budget and completion of all budget related templates as required, ensuring all reports are completed accurately and submitted as per the set deadlines.
    • Provide financial support to the departments in case there are any gaps and with the aim of enhancing their financial reporting.
    • Set up and maintain financial reporting systems for the Hospital.
    • Review cost analysis prepare control reports and performance reports.
    • Prepare timely and accurate management reports and distributing to appropriate users.
    • Prepare monthly cash flow forecasts for the Hospital.
    • Participate in preparation of board papers.
    • Ensure proper costing of products and services.
    • Develop financial reports for forecasting, trending and results analysis.
    • Monitor departments expenditure against budgets and any project plans.
    • Query department budgets where there are significant variances.

    Qualifications & Competencies:

    • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Finance
    • Must be a CPA(K), member of ICPAK in good standing
    • Minimum of five (5) years’ work experience in an Hospital Set up

    Senior Credit Officer

    Job Purpose

    Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Senior Credit Officer is responsible for overseeing the hospital’s credit control operations, ensuring timely billing, efficient collection, and accurate reconciliation of accounts from all clients, including Social Health Authority (SHA), Corporate Insurers, and Private Entities. The role provides leadership to the Credit Team, enforces credit policies, mitigates financial risk, and ensures sustainable cash flow in line with the hospital’s financial objectives and stewardship principles.

    Key Responsibilities
    Credit Control and Receivables Management

    • Supervise end-to-end credit management processes including billing, invoicing, posting, collections, and reconciliations.
    • Monitor account performance and ensure timely collection of outstanding balances.
    • Liaise with Social Health Authority (SHA) and Corporate Insurance Providers to resolve claim discrepancies, denials, and delayed payments.
    • Oversee preparation and submission of accurate monthly debtors’ aging analysis and performance reports.
    • Ensure all credit transactions comply with hospital polices and statutory requirements.
    • Recommend and implement strategies to minimize bad debts and optimize working capital.

    Leadership and Supervision

    • Lead, mentor, and appraise a team of Credit Officers and Credit Clerks, ensuring high performance, teamwork, and accountability.
    • Allocate tasks and set performance targets aligned to departmental goals.
    • Conduct regular training and coaching to enhance team competency in credit management systems and customer service.

    Relationship and Stakeholder Management

    • Maintain effective communication with internal departments (Billing, Claims, Finance, and Clinical Units) for smooth claim processing.
    • Build strong relationships with insurance companies, government agencies, and corporate clients to foster prompt settlements.
    • Participate in periodic SHA and insurer meetings to address operational bottlenecks and policy changes affecting claims processing

    Policy, Compliance, and Reporting

    • Enforce adherence to the hospital’s Credit Policy and recommend improvements based on operational realities.
    • Prepare periodic reports on collection trends, key account performance, and credit risk analysis.
    • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, audit requirements, and internal control procedures.
    • Support internal and external audits by providing requested credit documentation and reconciliations.
    • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Finance Manager or hospital management.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, or Credit Management Certification) is an added advantage.
    • Minimum of 8 years’ progressive experience in hospital or insurance credit management, with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
    • Demonstrated expertise in handling SHA, NHIF, and corporate insurance billing and reconciliation.
    • Strong understanding of healthcare finance systems, ERP billing modules, and credit control principles.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • High integrity and professional ethics in handling sensitive financial data.
    • Proficient in MS Excel and accounting systems (e.g., Navision, SAP, or similar).
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
