    Head of Regional Infrastructure Sales – Nairobi

    The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting the sales of products and services to potential and existing customers in East and Southern Africa. He/ She will be in charge of the development and delivery of the market strategy and position the Infrastructure Solutions ensuring to provide a solid value proposition for their target customers, as well as the definition of the market led products and services and the subsequent delivery of it through the team.

    Key Responsibilities.

    • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.
    • Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to drive high individual and team performance.
    • Set sales targets and performance metrics, monitoring results and applying corrective actions as needed.
    • Identify and prioritize key markets, customer segments, and sales opportunities through market and competitor analysis.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to drive long-term value.
    • Manage pricing strategies, incentives, and major deal negotiations to maximize profitability and competitiveness.

    Key Qualifications.

    • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field (MBA and/or professional certification is an added advantage).
    • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in a similar role, including at least 3 years in sales leadership or management.
    • Strong sales and budget planning capabilities.
    • Proven ability in market development and business growth.
    • Experience in strategy formulation and execution.
    • Demonstrated skills in business intelligence and data-driven decision-making.
    • Excellent negotiation, client relationship, and conflict management skills.

    Group Data Protection Officer- Nairobi

    • The DPO will ensure that all personal data relating to guests, employees, suppliers, and partners is processed in full compliance with regional data protection laws and international standards.
    • The ideal candidate is a compliance expert with excellent stakeholder management skills, and a proven ability to implement practical, organization-wide data protection frameworks.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Ensure all business units comply with the Kenya DPA (2019), Tanzanian PDPA (2022), Rwandan Law No. 058/2021, and applicable international data protection standards.
    • Lead and support Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) for new guest management systems, booking platforms, digital tools, loyalty programs, and high-risk data processing activities.
    • Develop, implement, and enforce data protection policies, SOPs, and privacy guidelines tailored to hospitality operations such as guest check-ins, reservations, CCTV, payments, and marketing.
    • Oversee data subject rights requests (DSARs) from guests, employees, and partners, ensuring timely, secure, and legally compliant responses.
    • Serve as the primary liaison with ODPC, PDPC, NCSA, and other regulators, coordinating audits, inspections, and compliance submissions.
    • Lead data breach incident response, assessing impact, notifying regulators and affected individuals, and driving corrective actions.
    • Maintain and update Records of Processing Activities (ROPA) and data flow maps for all hotel systems, departments, and third-party service providers (e.g., PMS, POS, CRM, and booking engines).
    • Deliver data privacy training and awareness programs to hotel staff, front-office teams, reservations, marketing, HR, and management to embed a strong culture of data protection.

    Key Qualifications.

    • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field; specialized training or a postgraduate qualification in Data Protection is an added advantage.
    • Experience in data protection, compliance, information security, or regulatory roles, preferably within the hospitality, travel, or service industry.
    • Strong understanding of regional data protection laws (Kenya DPA, Tanzanian PDPA, Rwandan Law No. 058/2021) and international frameworks such as GDPR and ISO 27701.
    • Demonstrated experience conducting DPIAs, managing DSARs, and driving data privacy programs in operational environments.
    • Knowledge of hospitality systems (PMS, POS, booking engines, CRM platforms) and data flows within hotel and guest service operations is highly desirable.
    • Strong risk management, analytical, and documentation skills with the ability to interpret legal requirements into practical operational controls.
    • Excellent communication, training, and stakeholder engagement skills, capable of working with multi-functional teams across different countries.

    Data Engineer (Hospitality) – Nairobi

    • The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the organisation’s data infrastructure to support high-quality Business Intelligence (BI) and analytics across all departments. He/She will ensure that data from operational and financial systems is reliably captured, cleaned, structured, and transformed into intuitive dashboards and analytical tools that empower data-driven decision-making across the group’s properties and leadership teams.

    Key Responsibilities.

    • Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines across multiple systems (PMS, POS, CRM, procurement, HR, financial systems).
    • Develop and optimise data models (star/snowflake schemas) and maintain the data warehouse/data lake as the organisation’s single source of truth.
    • Ingest, clean, validate, and monitor data quality, ensuring consistency, completeness, and reliability across all datasets.
    • Build and enhance BI dashboards and reports (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Qlik) that are user-friendly, commercially relevant, and visually intuitive.
    • Translate business questions into BI requirements, ensuring accurate SQL/DAX logic and consistently applied data definitions.
    • Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Commercial, HR, and Technology teams to understand data needs and deliver actionable technical solutions.
    • Create reusable data assets such as semantic layers, data marts, feature stores, and validated master datasets.
    • Document data flows, transformation logic, system architecture, and maintain an updated data catalogue.
    • Ensure data governance, security compliance, and implement best practices for metadata management.
    • Automate repetitive data tasks, identify improvement opportunities, and drive continuous enhancement of BI and analytics systems.

    Key Qualifications.

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in data engineering, BI development, or backend data architecture roles.
    • Strong experience designing ETL/ELT pipelines and working with modern data warehousing technologies.
    • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data modelling concepts (dimensional modelling, semantic layers).
    • Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or Qlik.
    • Strong understanding of database systems (SQL & NoSQL) and cloud data environments.
    • Experience managing master datasets and integrating data across multiple operational systems.
    • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
    • Strong documentation skills and familiarity with data catalogues, data lineage, and governance frameworks.
    • Experience working with automation, process optimisation, and workflow efficiencies
