    Business Manager

    Key Responsibilities:

    Strategic Lead Generation & Sales Growth:

    • Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive lead generation strategies for the business unit, including marketing campaigns, partnerships, and community outreach initiatives.
    • Analyse lead sources and conversion rates to continuously optimize lead generation efforts.
    • Collaborate with the Sales Team to set lead generation targets and ensure a consistent pipeline of qualified prospects.
    • Identify and pursue new market segments or channels for lead acquisition.
    • Monitor the effectiveness of various lead generation activities and adjust strategies as needed.

    Strategic Planning & Performance Management:

    • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
    • Set individual and team KPIs for sales and technical staff, monitor performance closely, and provide regular feedback and coaching.
    • Analyse sales and installation data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for growth.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and implement development plans for team members.

    Financial Management & Profitability:

    • Oversee all financial aspects of the business unit, including revenue generation, cost control, and budget management.
    • Analyse profit and loss (P&L) statements to identify areas of inefficiency and implement corrective actions.
    • Approve expenditures and manage operational costs to maximize profitability.
    • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.

    Inventory & Asset Management:

    • Ensure accurate tracking and management of all inventory (products, kits, spare parts) to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
    • Implement robust inventory control procedures, conduct regular stock counts, and reconcile physical stock with system records.
    • Manage asset allocation and maintenance for operational efficiency.

    Stakeholder & Relationship Management:

    • Act as the primary liaison between the business unit and external stakeholders, including accountants, lawyers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
    • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
    • Build and maintain strong, productive relationships with all key stakeholders to support business operations and growth.

    Operational Excellence:

    • Optimize operational processes to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
    • Ensure a safe and productive working environment for all staff.

    Address customer complaints and escalations effectively and professionally

    Qualifications

    Atleast 10 years in middle/senior management as a commercial and customer experience expert within the technology sector.

    Installation & Service Technician (s)

    Key Responsibilities:

    Efficient Installation & Service Delivery:

    • Execute daily installation schedules efficiently, ensuring timely completion of assigned jobs.
    • Adhere to established installation procedures and quality standards to ensure proper functionality of all installed kits.
    • Optimize travel and work processes to minimize average installation time per job without compromising quality.

    Quality Workmanship & Problem Resolution (First-Time Fix Rate):

    • Diagnose and resolve technical issues accurately and comprehensively on the first visit, minimizing repeat call-outs.
    • Perform thorough post-installation checks and testing to ensure system integrity and functionality.
    • Identify potential issues proactively and implement preventive measures during installations.

    Ensuring Customer Satisfaction:

    • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers before, during, and after installations.
    • Educate customers on the basic operation and maintenance of their newly installed kits.
    • Ensure the work area is left clean and tidy after every job.
    • Promptly address any customer concerns or questions related to the installation or product functionality.
    • Encourage customers to provide immediate feedback through designated channels (SMS, app-based).

    Documentation & Reporting:

    • Complete all service reports and necessary documentation accurately and on time.
    • Report any persistent technical issues or product defects to the relevant department.
    • Manage and account for tools and equipment used in installations.

    Identifying Sales Opportunities & Generating Referrals:

    • Act as a brand ambassador during all customer interactions, representing the company positively.
    • During installations or service calls, proactively identify opportunities for new kit sales based on customer needs or inquiries.
    • Encourage satisfied customers to provide referrals by providing them with information on how to refer other customers.
    • Pass on details of interested customers or potential leads identified during field visits to the Sales Team for follow-up.

    Qualifications

    Atleast 3 years experience as an Installation and Service Delivery Technician of internet and satelite solutions.

    Sales Representative (s)

    Key Responsibilities:

    Generating and Nurturing Leads:

    • Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities through various channels, including referrals, community engagement, and local events.
    • Distribute marketing materials and engage in local promotional activities to attract potential customers.
    • Capture and qualify lead information accurately in the CRM system for follow-up.
    • Follow up diligently on all assigned leads (walk-ins, web inquiries, phone calls) to move them through the sales pipeline.

    Achieving Sales Targets (Units Sold & Revenue Generated):

    • Proactively engage with walk-in customers and follow up on leads to identify their needs and recommend suitable products/services.
    • Conduct effective product demonstrations and articulate value propositions to prospective customers.
    • Negotiate and close deals to meet or exceed weekly and monthly unit and revenue targets.
    • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the product, pricing, and promotional offers.

    Customer Conversion:

    • Develop and implement effective sales techniques to convert inquiries and leads into successful sales.
    • Address customer objections and concerns professionally to move them through the sales funnel.
    • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and conversion outcomes.

    Ensuring Customer Satisfaction:

    • Provide excellent pre-sale and post-sale customer service, ensuring a positive customer experience.
    • Actively solicit and respond to customer feedback (e.g., through quick surveys or ratings).
    • Resolve customer queries or escalate issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.

    Reporting & Administration:

    • Accurately record all sales transactions, lead sources, and customer data.
    • Provide regular reports on sales performance, conversion rates, and customer feedback to the Business Manager.

    Qualifications

    2 years of aggressive sales experience selling technology solutions in Kenya
