    General Nurses

    Job Description

    • Complete head to toe assessment and re-assessment of patients to identify their care needs
    • Develop written care plans based on patients’ needs, monitor and evaluate effectiveness of interventions
    • Carry out hemodynamic monitoring to include vital signs, neurological and fluid status; labs and radiological evaluations
    • Document all assessment data, investigation results, care given, discussions with the multidisciplinary team, family/patient interactions in an accurate, comprehensive and timely manner
    • Administer medication safely, monitor patient responses to medication and promptly report adverse reactions.
    • Ensure proper and safe  disposal of clinical and non-clinical waste.
    • Prepare for and assist other medical professionals to perform various procedures.
    • Carry out pre and post-operative care for the surgical patient

    Required Qualifications

    • A diploma or Bachelor of Science in Nursing KRCHN from a recognized Institution..
    • Registration Certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Kenya.
    • Valid Nursing Council of Kenya License.
    • At least 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting.
    • Proficiency in computer application skills.
    • Working experience in specialized areas such as Maternity, Pediatrics, Renal Unit and Critical care will be an added advantage.
    • ACLS/ BLS training will be an added advantage.

    A&E Nurse

    Duties and Responsibilities.

    • Quickly assess and prioritize patient conditions upon arrival.
    • Manage basic life support needs and stabilize patients based on nursing standards and protocol ensuring timely escalations.
    • Determine the appropriate level of care and urgency for treatment based on clinical guidelines.
    • Monitor and document vital signs and provide continuous patient care during emergency interventions ensuring timely escalations.
    • Report adverse reactions to medications or treatments in accordance with the policy regarding the administration of medications. 

    Required Qualifications

    • Diploma in Nursing KRCHN or Bachelor of Science in Nursing BScN.
    • Higher Diploma in A&E.
    • Valid Nursing Council of Kenya License.
    • Valid ACLS/ BLS Certification.
    • Minimum 1 Year of relevant working experience, preferably in a busy private hospital set up.
    • Commitment to providing high quality care and excellence.
    • Excellent communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to remain calm, focused, and efficient under pressure.

    Accountant

    Roles and Responsibilities.

    • Provide financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data; preparing reports.
    • Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
    • Document financial transactions by entering account information.
    • Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
    • Summarize current financia status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.
    • Masters degree in the relevant field is an added advantage.
    • CPA(K) or ACCA or CFA.
    • Computer literate.
    • Minimum 3 years experience in accounting/finance.
    • Minimum 3 experience working in busy hospital.
    • Good communication skills.

    ICT Officer

    Roles and Responsibilities.

    • Conducting routine evaluations of network and data security        
    • Formulate and direct information and communication technology (ICT) strategies, policies and plans.
    • Organizing and establishing deadlines for major IT projects such as system updates, migrations, upgrades, and outages 
    • Evaluate user needs and system functionality and ensure that ICT facilities meet these needs.
    • Plan, develop, and implement the ICT budget, and obtain competitive prices from suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness.
    • Schedule upgrades and security backups of hardware and software systems.
    • Research and install new systems to keep up to date with the changing technology.
    • Guarantee the smooth running of all ICT systems including antivirus software, print services, and email provision.
    • Ensure that software licensing laws are adhered to regarding the institute’s policy and guidelines.
    • Provide secure access to the network for remote users to ensure the confidentiality and security of the institute’s files and databases.
    • Secure data from internal and external attacks through continuous security audits.
    • Offer users appropriate support and advice for efficiency and customer satisfaction.
    • Manage crises that may involve complex technical hardware or software problems.
    • Mentor and train new ICT support staff to be competent and motivated.
    • Analyze information needs and specify technology to meet those needs.
    • Direct the selection and installation of ICT resources and the provision of user training.

    Required Qualifications

    • Degree / Diploma in Information Communication Technology, Computer Science or a related field from a recognized institution of higher learning.
    • Certifications in IT courses such as ITIL, MCSA and network administration.
    • Minimum 2 years experience in ICT support and administration with a strong technical background in IT systems and networks.
    • Commitment to providing high quality care and excellence.
    • Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to remain calm, focused, and efficient under pressure.
