    Radio Sonographer

    Job Objective/Purpose

    Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in line with the hospital policies and procedures.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Attend to walk in and referred patients who present to the Perform imaging procedures on patients to meet the established practice parameters and standards of care while ensuring client satisfaction.
    • Processing and printing of quality and appropriate images to assist in diagnosis.
    • Ensuring availability and optimum utilization of consumables for cost effectiveness.
    • Producing timely and accurate results in line with Imaging SOPs
    • To ensure real time billing of all procedures has been done before they are carried out.
    • Accurate identification and preparation of the client prior to imaging procedures
    • Counseling of patients and next of kin about the procedure and obtain consent.
    • To provide high quality care and services and maintaining the professional ethics.
    • Ensure radiation safety within the facility for both staff and patients.
    • Adhere to Infection Prevention Control measures per the hospital policies.
    • Performs calibration and routine preventive maintenance on imaging equipment per the established procedures and protocols.
    • Safeguard and provide basic maintenance and safety of imaging equipment in the facility.

    • Higher Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography/Medical Imaging Sciences
    • Bachelor of Science Degree in Radiography or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution will be an added advantage.

    Credit Control Assistant

    Job Objective/Purpose

    Proper follow up of payments from cash payers, insurance and direct credit companies within inpatient at the hospital.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Confirm daily admissions in all the wards.
    • Follow up on cash deposit top ups on a daily basis
    • Work with Head of  Credit  and the receipting and allocations team to ensure accurate and timely receipting of individual debtors’ payments in HIS and the accounting system.
    • Collect and register collateral from cash patients who have requested and been granted credit by management and submit to the Hospital Manager for safe custody who releases them once the bill is fully paid.
    • Update on the daily interim bills both to the insurance companies and cash payers.
    • Ensure daily dispatch of invoices to the Head of Credit.
    • Follow up on Letters of Undertakings as well as medical reports as and when requested by insurance companies.
    • 100% collection of individual debtors in collaboration with external debt collectors.
    • Inform the management on status of payment by individual debtors.
    • Provide individual debtors payment report to the Head of Credit and the Financial Controller on a monthly basis
    • Ensure compliance to company credit policies and guidelines ie. On discounts and undertakings
    • Inform the respective supervisor on risky patients.

    Echo Technician

    Job Objective/Purpose

    Provide safe and high-quality Cardiac and Echo services in line with the hospital policies and procedures.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Performs cardiac and echo procedures.
    • Considering the age-specific physiological, emotional and cognitive needs of the patient.
    • Perform pre-procedure assessment reviewing patient history and physical examination.
    • Formulate a nursing care plan to address patient care goals and ensure an excellent outcome.
    • Act as the team lead during cardiac and echo procedures
    • Prepare procedure room for the patient.
    • Perform a pre-procedure safety checklist to ensure patient safety.
    • Document patient care activities and outcomes as per policies and procedures.
