    Credit Administrator - Compliance & Documentation

    Job Purpose:  

    This role is responsible for supporting sound credit decisions and effective risk management by reviewing and validating valuation reports, coordinating and conducting property and collateral inspections and ensuring full compliance with approved valuation methodologies, internal credit policies and applicable regulatory requirements. Ensures accuracy, completeness and timely documentation to mitigate credit risk and support audit and governance standards. 

    Key Responsibilities

    Valuation Review and Advisory 

    • Review valuation reports for accuracy and completeness.  
    • Interpret valuation findings and provide guidance to credit teams and management.  
    • Ensure compliance with valuation instructions and internal policies. 

    Valuation & Inspection  

    • Conduct property valuations and desktop reviews for expired valuations.  
    • Perform property inspections and market research to determine fair market value.  
    • Prepare detailed valuation reports aligned with regulatory standards. 

     Methodology and Regulatory Monitoring 

    •  Ensure use of appropriate valuation methodologies.  
    •  Monitor market trends and update valuation practices accordingly. 

    Customer Service  

    • Adhere to turnaround times (TAT) and service-level agreements (SLAs).  
    • Deliver timely, accurate valuations that meet client expectations. 

    Audit & Compliance 

    • Maintain valuation records for audit and compliance purposes.  
    • Ensure valuations comply with internal and external regulations. 

    Process Improvement &Training 

    • Recommend process enhancements for efficiency and accuracy.  
    • Support staff training on valuation standards and best practices 

    Qualifications

    Qualifications and Experience: 

    • Bachelor’s degree in real estate, Land Economics, Property Valuation from a university recognized in Kenya. 
    • Postgraduate Diploma or Master’s in Property Valuation, Real Estate, Finance, or Risk Management (preferred) from a university recognized in Kenya 
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in valuation. 
    • Registered Valuer with Valuers Registration Board (VRB)  
    • Full member of the Institution of Surveyors of Kenya (ISK), in good standing

    Relationship Officer-Collections

    Job Purpose:

    This role is responsible for monitoring loan portfolio allocated to ensure its quality is in line with the Bank’s projections and that any variations are promptly addressed, planning and executing accurate collection of customer’s accounts in arrears including engaging customers to ensure minimal slippage of loans to the next classification.

    Key Responsibilities:  

    • Contact debtors by phone or through correspondence obtain payments, establish payment schedules and renegotiate payment schedules.
    • Take actions to encourage timely debt payments to avoid aging of unpaid loans/accounts.
    • Reconcile customer disputes pertaining to payment of outstanding loan balances that are due.
    • Ensure defined department Collections goals are met.
    • Provide customer service for the Credit collection services.
    • Document all collections efforts of the accounts he/she had handled in the online credit collection system.
    • Encourage the culture of saving by encouraging customers to make regular deposits for savings and not only making deposits to pay the loan.
    • Business awareness -Be able to align collection to current business trends.
    • Time Management -Ability to effectively manage one’s time to complete work according to established deadlines. The ability to prioritize tasks to make the best use of time

    Qualifications

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • University degree in a business-related field or its equivalent.
    • Minimum grade of C+ (plus) Mathematics, English/Kiswahili.
    • Mean grade of C+ (plus) and above in KCSE exams.
    • Computer Literacy
    • Minimum years of experience 1 to 2 years in any early debt collections environment.

    Channel Support Manager – ATM /CDM

    Job Purpose:

    The ATM Channel Manager is responsible for managing and optimizing the ATM /CDM channel, ensuring efficient operations, increasing transaction volumes, and enhancing customer satisfaction. This role involves strategic planning, operational oversight, and working closely with vendors, service providers, and internal teams to ensure the smooth functioning and profitability of the network 

    Responsibilities:

     ATM Operations Management  

    • Oversee the daily operations of the bank’s ATM network, ensuring that ATMs are functional, secure, and optimally located. 
    • Monitor ATM uptime and work closely with service providers to minimize downtime and resolve technical issues promptly. 
    • Ensure ATMs are well-stocked with cash and supplies, including coordination with cash management teams. 
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance schedule to ensure ATMs are always operational and adhere to service-level agreements (SLAs). 

    Channel Strategy and Development: 

    • Develop and execute the bank's ATM channel strategy, including identifying opportunities for expansion, upgrading technology, and improving customer service. 
    • Analyze market trends and customer behavior to optimize ATM locations and functionalities. 
    • Evaluate the performance of the ATM network and provide regular reports and recommendations to senior management. 
    • Collaborate with marketing teams to promote the use of ATMs and increase transaction volumes. 

    Vendor and Stakeholder Management: 

    • Manage relationships with ATM service providers, manufacturers, and cash logistics partners to ensure compliance with SLAs and quality standards. 
    • Negotiate contracts with vendors and ensure cost-effective solutions for ATM hardware, software, and maintenance services. 
    • Work with IT and security teams to ensure ATMs meet regulatory standards and are equipped with the latest security features (e.g., anti-skimming technology, encryption). 

    Compliance and Risk Management: 

    • Ensure the ATM channel complies with regulatory requirements, including data privacy laws, anti-money laundering (AML) regulations,  
    • Implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize fraud, theft, and other operational risks. 
    • Ensure all ATMs adhere to security protocols, including regular inspections, software updates, and compliance with EMV and PCI DSS standards. 

    Customer Experience and Support: 

    • Continuously improve the customer experience by enhancing ATM usability, reducing transaction times, and addressing customer pain points. 
    • Work with customer service teams to resolve ATM-related customer complaints and ensure prompt issue resolution. 
    • Monitor customer feedback and transaction patterns to make improvements to the ATM channel. 

    Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): 

    • ATM uptime and service availability (e.g., 99% uptime target) 
    • Transaction volume growth 
    • Customer satisfaction metrics 
    • Reduction in operational and security issues 
    • Compliance with regulatory standards

    Qualifications

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, or a related field is preferred. or Diploma with extensive ATM experience 10+ years should be considered  

    Experience: 

    • Experience working with ATM software and hardware vendors and managing service-level agreements. 
    • In-depth knowledge of ATM technologies, including hardware, software, and security protocols (e.g., EMV, PCI DSS, encryption). 
    • Familiarity with ATM management systems and monitoring tools (e.g., NCR Aptra, Diebold Nixdorf, or other similar platforms).
