Provide strategic leadership and direction across the full spectrum of Human Resource functions, including talent acquisition, payroll and benefits administration, performance management, employee relations, and organizational development.
Develop, implement, and continuously refine HR policies and procedures to align with company goals and ensure full compliance with Kenya's Employment and Labor Laws.
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on workforce planning, talent management, and organizational effectiveness.
Lead the development and execution of robust recruitment and selection strategies to attract, hire, and retain high-caliber talent in alignment with organizational needs and culture.
Design and manage talent development and retention initiatives, including succession planning, training programs, and employee engagement strategies to build a resilient and high-performing workforce.
Drive initiatives that promote a positive organizational culture and foster effective communication across all departments and staff levels.
Oversee the management and accuracy of the organizations HR information systems and employee database, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
Conduct regular HR analytics and reporting to inform decision-making and support continuous improvement in HR operations.
Manage disciplinary and grievance matters in a fair and consistent manner, supporting managers with employee relations issues and ensuring timely resolution.
Provide professional translation services as needed to support communication and inclusion efforts across a multilingual team.
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a Masters Degree or professional certification (e.g., CHRP) is an added advantage.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in human resources, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
Thorough understanding of Kenyan labor laws and statutory requirements, with proven experience in applying them within an organizational setting.
Demonstrated ability to develop and lead HR strategies that drive organizational performance and support growth.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience in HR data analysis and using insights to inform strategic decisions.
Fluency in English and at least one additional language (foreign language proficiency is essential).
Kenyan citizenship or valid residency status required.
