    Insurance & Ipf Sales Officer

    Roles and responsibilities.

    Premium Finance Coordination:

    • Oversee and manage the insurance premium finance process from application to approval.
    • Collaborate with insurance brokers, underwriters, and financial institutions to facilitate premium financing for clients.
    • Ensure accurate and timely processing of premium finance transactions.

    Sales and Business Development:

    • Actively promote IPF products to existing and potential clients.
    • Identify opportunities for cross-selling or upselling related financial products.
    • Achieve sales targets and contribute to the growth of the IPF business.
    • Plan, organize and execute non-supervised marketing activities within Nairobi and cosmopolitan 
    • Generate new leads, prospect and conversations 
    • Educate and consult with clients on all insurance products and types 
    • Maintain Key accounts 
    • Penetrate new markets keeping up with new demands and market survey in asset finance, logbook loans and insurance premium finance.

    Product Knowledge:

    • Stay updated on the features and benefits of the institution's IPF products or services.
    • Effectively communicate the value proposition of IPF offerings to clients.
    • Educate clients on the risks and rewards associated with IPF investments.

    Payment Processing:

    • Ensure timely and accurate processing of premium payments.
    • Reconcile premium finance accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
    • Generate and distribute invoices to clients with premium finance details.

    Client Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance clients.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries related to premium financing.
    • Provide exceptional customer service to address client needs and concerns.

    Record Keeping:

    • Maintain organized and up-to-date records of premium financing transactions.
    • Generate reports on premium financing activity for management review.
    • Ensure compliance with record-keeping requirements and data protection regulations.

    Documentation and Compliance:

    • Ensure all premium finance documentation is complete, accurate, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Work closely with legal and compliance teams to stay updated on industry regulations and implement necessary changes.

    Policy Administration:

    • Work closely with insurance agencies to obtain necessary policy information.
    • Verify accuracy of policy details, coverage, and premium amounts.
    • Ensure compliance with insurance regulations and company policies.

    Reporting and Analysis:

    • Generate and analyze reports related to premium finance activities.
    • Identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in the premium finance process.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with internal teams, including finance, sales, and operations, to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency.
    • Participate in meetings to provide insights and updates on premium finance activities.

    Sales Agent- Logbook Loan Products

    This is a full-time, on-site role based in Our Thika Office for a Sales Agent specializing in logbook loan products. The Sales Agent will actively engage with potential clients, present and promote logbook loan products, and provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction. The role includes conducting customer needs assessments, closing sales, and maintaining relationships with existing customers to foster loyalty and encourage referrals. Training will be offered to help the Sales Agent achieve their targets and excel in their role.

    Qualifications

    • Strong skills in communication and customer service to build and maintain positive client relationships
    • Proven expertise in sales, with a focus on achieving targets and driving revenue growth
    • Experience in the insurance sector or training in sales techniques is a plus
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and a results-driven mindset
    • Basic understanding of microfinance products, specifically loan services, is preferred
