    Transaction Advisory Senior

    The Opportunity

    • We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Consulting Senior to deliver high-impact transaction advisory services across business valuation, corporate restructuring, and financial consulting. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Consulting Manager.

    Responsibilities

    • Support transaction advisory projects including mergers, acquisitions and divestitures through leading and executing engagements under the supervision of the Consulting Manager/Partner in business valuation, financial due diligence and corporate restructuring
    • Conduct detailed financial analysis, modeling, and reporting to support client decision-making
    • Collaborate with clients to understand their business challenges and deliver tailored consulting solutions
    • Prepare and present high-quality deliverables including valuation reports, restructuring plans, and strategic recommendations
    • Mentor and supervise junior consultants, providing guidance and performance feedback
    • Ensure compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements
    • Contribute to business development efforts through proposal writing and client relationship management
    • Work effectively in a multicultural team environment, demonstrating cultural sensitivity and adaptability

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance and Economics
    • Certifications preferred – ACCA or CPA (Kenya)
    • CFA designation is a plus
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in audit
    • 2 - 3 years of experience in transaction advisory, including: Business valuation, Corporate restructuring, Financial consulting
    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality outcomes under pressure
    • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
    • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling tools. Data analytics expertise will be an added advantage
    • Strong project management and client-facing skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

    Risk Advisory Senior

    The Opportunity

    • We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Consulting Senior to lead and deliver risk advisory engagements for clients across Kenya and East Africa. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Consulting Manager/Partner.

    Responsibilities

    • Work in collaboration with client teams to ensure an understanding of client business, internal controls system, operating environment and financial processes under review
    • Carrying out tasks, under the supervision of Consulting Manager/Partner, which include; Planning, execution and reporting for risk consulting engagements including internal audits, enterprise risk management, investigative and forensic audits, business processes reviews and compliance checks
    • Adhere to the timeframe and escalate challenges or delays to the Consulting Manager/Partner immediately these are expected to arise
    • Deliver high-quality reports and presentations to client leadership, including boards and audit committees
    • Evaluate the design, adequacy, and effectiveness of internal controls, and provide clients with strategic advice on risk management and control enhancement opportunities
    • Assist in business development including proposal writing, client pitches, and identifying new business opportunities
    • Build long-term meaningful relationships with clients and contribute to the growth of the Risk Advisory practice
    • Supervising the field team and ensuring that they are carrying out their work in accordance with the plan
    • Reviewing work done by junior consultants and interns and providing them with mentorship and performance feedback
    • Keeping abreast of changes in laws and regulations and technical standards in the Risk Advisory area
    • Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the team
    • Assisting the Consulting Manager/Partner in developing newsletters and publications in areas identified by the Partner
    • Carrying out any other tasks as delegated by the Consulting Manager/Partner from time-to-time

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
    • Certifications preferred – ACCA or CPA (Kenya), CIA, CISA, CRMA, CFE is an added advantage
    • A Master’s degree is an added advantage
    • Membership with professional bodies such as ICPAK, IIA Kenya, or IRM Kenya is a plus
    • 3 - 5 years of progressive experience in risk advisory, with 2 years at semi-senior level, preferably in a Kenyan or East African context
    • Strong project management and client-facing skills
    • Experience working in a multicultural environment.

    Risk Advisory Associate

    The Opportunity

    • We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Consulting Associate, to join our risk advisory team, supporting the delivery of risk consulting services to clients across Kenya and East Africa.  The successful candidate will be reporting to the Consulting Senior.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist in conducting risk assessments, internal audits, investigative & forensic audits, business processes reviews, data analytics, and compliance reviews
    • Carry out fieldwork as planned within specified timelines to assess control design adequacy, effectiveness and any deficiencies
    • Ensure proper evidence documentation and recommend actions for improvement and process enhancements;
    • Support in preparing client deliverables such as reports, presentations, and audit observations
    • Perform follow-up audit to ensure agreed controls have been implemented satisfactorily
    • Conduct research on industry-specific risks, regulatory requirements, and best practices
    • Analyze data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas of concern
    • Assist in developing risk and control matrices and audit programs
    • Work collaboratively with team members across multiple engagements
    • Take ownership of assigned tasks and deliver high-quality work within deadlines
    • Seek feedback and actively participate in training and development initiatives
    • Carrying out any other tasks as delegated by the firm from time-to-time

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
    • Certifications preferred – ACCA or CPA (Kenya) – ongoing or completed. CIA, CISA are added advantages
    • Candidates with up to 2 years of experience are encouraged to apply
    • Work experience in audit is a plus
    • Familiarity with Kenyan regulatory frameworks is desirable
    • Experience working in a multicultural environment.
